Life is strange Remastered se retrasa

La pandemia sigue dejando malas noticias y claramente afecta a los planes de las compañías. En esta ocasión le ha tocado a Square Enix y a su remasterización de Life is Strange. El combo de los dos primeros juegos de la saga sufre un retraso hasta principios del 2022, sin fecha concreta.

Según el comunicado oficial quieren centrarse sobre todo en True Colors que sí mantiene su fecha de lanzamiento. Pero no todo son malas noticias. Ya sabemos también cuando podremos disfrutar su DLC. Será el 30 de septiembre cuando juguemos como Steph Gingrich en Wavelengths. Además, hoy mostrarán trailer sobre su contenido.

Hello, Life is Strange fans! We have some important updates for you on our upcoming release dates. After Life is Strange: True Colors releases on September 10, we’re happy to announce that the Life is Strange: Wavelengths DLC, starring Steph Gingrich, will release on September 30. We will be revealing a first look via a new trailer tomorrow. However, due to the ongoing challenges of the worldwide pandemic, we want to alleviate any additional pressure on the Life is Strange team by giving more time between the release of Life is Strange: True Colors, and Life is Strange Remastered Collection. For this reason, we have made the difficult decision to delay the release of the Life is Strange: Remastered Collection for all platforms – PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Stadia, and Switch – until Early 2022. Life is Strange, primer episodio gratis a partir de hoy

Square Enix y Dontnod Entertaiment nos regalan a partir de hoy el primer episodio del exitoso Life is Strange para PS4, PS3, PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360 y Mac.

La trama tiene lugar en Arcadia Bay, el pueblo natal de Max Caulfield, una estudiante de fotografía que descubre que tiene el poder de viajar a través del tiempo, logrando rebobinar hacia atrás y produciendo un efecto mariposa que permite cambiar el pasado. Pero toda acción tiene su consecuencia. El juego se desarrolla a través de 5 episodios donde la historia cambia dependiendo de las acciones que realicemos.

Aclamado por la crítica, la compañía decidió sacar una edición física especial acompañada de la banda sonora (que no tiene desperdicio) y un libro de ilustraciones. Se incluye también la traducción del juego, aspecto que en un principio no tuvo y esto le supuso un punto negativo por gran parte de los usuarios que decidieron traducir la historia por su cuenta.
